Five years ago, law enforcement, politicians, parents, and the community unified to pass Chelsea’s Law in California. We know it is working. But there remains much work to be done
Today we are standing together to call on congress to pass the Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Act. Please click here to add your name to our effort.
A cultural shift is needed to end Child Sexual Assault (CSA) and action from us all is key. To do this Chelsea’s Light Foundation and partners across the nation will keep CSA in the forefront of people’s thoughts, agendas, and discussions to help ensure all children grow up safe and free from all forms of sexual harm.
The reality is that one in four girls and one in six boys will be sexually abused by the age of eighteen, according to the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) study, from the CDC and Kaiser Permanente. Together we can take action to make a difference.
