Interfaith Community Services is preparing a new home for Veterans - and they need our help today, tomorrow and Wednesday!  

See the message they sent me today...

Dear Mr. Fletcher,

Volunteers are needed today, tomorrow, and Wednesday to finish minor repairs, touch-up, and clean-up of a 6 bedroom home located in Escondido.  Once we finish prepareing the home, it will provide housing and employment for previously homeless veterans. 

But before we can welcome our new resident Veterans, we need a few willing volunteers to help with final repairs and preparations!

"Skilled" and "unskilled" volunteer assistance is needed between 9am - 5pm, today, tomorrow, and Wednesday.  If you would like to help prepare this new home for Veterans, please call me at 760-489-6380 ext.220 to discuss details. 

If you are able we encourge you to bring any supplies that may help, particularly cleaning materials.  We also have a need for new or gently-used kitchen utensils and cookware.
