Right on track: San Diego County is well on its way to beating COVID-19. We are close to being at our vaccination goal and if we keep on track, our County will be in the Yellow Tier by next week. Then, on June 15th, the entire County will safely open up once again to max capacities. Let’s Go San Diego, we’re almost there!
Good read: I just finished, “Give a Boy a Gun” by Jack Olsen. It is the true crime story of Claude Dallas, a notorious murderer who killed two fish and game agents and then evaded capture and pitted friend against friend. A powerful narrative about accountability and all that divides us to this day. I recommend. H/T to my friend Rafeal Castallanos for the referral.
Disinformation: Once again, KUSI has continued to spread a false narrative that can and will be harmful to the community. We can’t allow this to stand. Get a vaccine.
Photo of the Week: I’m here for this Manny Machado:) And today is officially #FernandoTatisDay. This day, just 5 years ago we acquired Tatis for players you have never heard of:) Best deal in baseball!
Friday night: Fletcher Friday was a little late today! Sorry--had to wrap up a wonderful dinner and live music at one of our favorite neighborhood places--Nate’s Garden Grill.
